COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed predominantly with organic 2- row, the malt bill is rounded out with organic light munich, organic 60L crystal and caravienna. Northwest Golding and Hallertauer hops provide a pleasant hop character. Right out of primary fermentation this beer is decidedly an American Pale Ale, but as it enters secondary, a bridge to Belgium is built with a dose of Brettanomyces Bruxellensis. A 5 week maturation results in slightly dry, fruity beer with a hint of floral Brett character that will evolve over time.

750 ml bottle from Whole Foods. Pours a deep ruby color with a huge overly carbonated head. A light fruity nose with clear funky brett notes. Big cherries, light funky Brett, leather, sweet tangerine. A light fluffy palate. Light vinegar. Quite nice. Very fruity.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy opaque dark orange with a large foamy white head. Aroma brings out mostly brett upfront, a little hay, and some hops. Flavour brings out lots of beautiful brett, some floral hops, and moderate funk. Highly drinkable, with a very pungent freshness as well as brett spike. Leaves moderately funky and fresh floral notes. Great funky pale.

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate brett notes with sweet tarts, light sour fruits, lemon, and faint must. It pours a transparent golden-orange with a two finger orange tinted off-white head that quickly fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of pear. The finish has light floral notes, a touch of sweet tarts, and lemon. It’s light bodied with moderate carbonation.

Capped 750 from Made in Oregon. Pours hazy orange with a creamy off-white head. Nice fresh brett odor. (brett? fresh? well, yeah) With fruit. Med body or better. Flavor seems to be brett, light pitted fruit, spicy. It’s earthy. Extremely tasty.

750ml bottle pours a cloudy golden orange color with a huge white head that retains quite well and leaves some thick soapy lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is lemon zest with some light fruits and yeasty notes as well. Taste is a lemon zesty bitterness with light fruit and grainy sweetness finishing with a dry yeasty flowery finish. Light to medium bodied with generous carbonation. A very well done brew for the style, well balanced and not over the top lemon sourness.

Bottle at the brewery, kindly split by the guy serving to a couple of out of towners from the East coast and myself - 26/05/13. Lightly hazed golden with a thin white head. Nose is bretts, soured fruits, funk, tarte gooseberries, barnyard. Taste comprises light brett - but always in the shadows, grass, lemon rind, tarte berry fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp clean finish - pitched to perfection and making this sour super drinkable. Great tackle! Lots of complexity and depth for 5.7%, well executed.
