COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed predominantly with organic 2- row, the malt bill is rounded out with organic light munich, organic 60L crystal and caravienna. Northwest Golding and Hallertauer hops provide a pleasant hop character. Right out of primary fermentation this beer is decidedly an American Pale Ale, but as it enters secondary, a bridge to Belgium is built with a dose of Brettanomyces Bruxellensis. A 5 week maturation results in slightly dry, fruity beer with a hint of floral Brett character that will evolve over time.

Beautiful. Pours a clear orange gold with a light frothy off white head. The nose is fruity, funky brett, mild malts. Dry and tart with a light and floral bitterness. Funky but not overbearing. A good beer but unmemorable.

Sample at the taproom. The beer is a cloudy copper-orange color with a medium thick off-white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of funky fruit, yeast and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of brett yeast, funky citrus and doughy malt. The finish is tropical fruit and brett. Pretty good overall.

Bottle. Copper color with a thin ring of beige head. Nose is hops, brett, oak, and a little fruity. Smells like it’s going to be acidic... Sour and light bitter taste, a little funky fruit. Somewhat acidic, but less than the aroma would suggest. More hops than fruit, oak barrel, and sour.

An old bottle bought in Portland 2 years ago - way past prime - Appypolly loggy. Aroma is the tops for me as I can smell all the flavors that are still there without some of the accompanying flavors. The color is a sunset orange (sorry I just saw Star Wars IV-VII and the images are all) with a good retention head with lacey-ness of joy. Sour prevails with a sweet There’s a bittering lingering that is probably the results of aging. Overall lovely, and sorry I didn’t taste you sooner... Until next time > Cheers & beers!
