750 ml bottle. Clear deep dark Ruby red, fine firm tan foam mostly lasts. Aroma of soapy floral fruity berries. Taste is sweet floral, spiced, perfumey, fruity berry tang, some yeastiness and wheaty malt. Softer carbonation, medium bodied, lightly hopped. Definitely different, just not my cup of tea. Bottle. Brown pour with an off white head. Not sure what the hell Im smelling here. Wacky cola and yeast notes. Wow, this is a real misfire. Below average body and mouthfeel.

Bottle from BCS. Pours a clear dark brown with a big soapy beige head. Strong aromas of chamomile and lavender with nutmeg and cinnamon on the nose as well. Cola-like mouthfeel with average carbonation. A little heavy for a saison, but still pretty nice. The floral flavors really standout. Would like more carbonation and more funky yeast...urban farmhouse and flemish kiss are way better imho.

On tap at fat head Portland pub. Pours out a crisp brown topped with a sand head. Nose is floral and lots of perfume. Taste is more of the perfume and a nice malt bill.

On tap at Tin Bucket - Pours brown with a tan head. The aroma has lots of bright herbal spices, very leafy and fresh with some saison style earthiness. It has a medium crisp body with mild carbonation. The flavor starts with a very weird mix of spices that seem all over the place to me. The finish seems to be a bit of a different mix of spices, but still seems scattered to me. It is dry and somewhat off-putting to me. I love The Commons a lot, but this one just isnt for me.
