Oakes (18557) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 3, 2017
Brown-amber, with a thin head. Limited aroma but bright pear and rye notes on the palate. It’s a bit flabby though, but overall a pretty good beer.

Draft at the brewery. Amber in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of grainy rye, soapy Belgian yeast, and lemon. Flavors are of lemon soap, lavender, grassy rye, whole grain toast, and white pepper. Lots of complexity, but still quite drinkable.

tiong (7516) - Espoo, FINLAND - MAY 25, 2016
Draught @ Commons, Portland, OR. Pours dark reddish brown with a smooth head. Aroma of berries, rye, tartish fruits and hints of grainy earthy malts. Taste is smooth, sweetish and slightly grainy with some rye, hints of berries and earthiness. Finish is smooth, slightly grainy and earthy with some hints of rye and berries. Decent, quite easy going.

3.4
Prufrockstar (2133) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - MAY 14, 2016
Draft at the source. Couldn’t say no to a catcher in the rye beer. And hey, I guess there’s rye here, so it all comes together. Deep Amber / brownish pour, white head, some lacing. Spicy, almost smokey. Somewhat sweet, medium- body, average carbonation. Overall: okay.

Rusty brown with a light beige head. Aroma is rose water, caramel, hint of wood and didn't maple. Medium bodied, lightly floral on the palate with a windy dry finish. Taste is rose water, rye, caramel, honey, oak.

3.5
after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - MAR 1, 2016
Draft at sb. Pours a cloudy very dark amber with a dense and creamy pale tan head. B8g sweet nose, showing bananas and cloves and a bit of overripe red apple. Creamy medium body with soft carb, goes a bit watery in spots. Caramel, banana, clove mid palats. Saison? Rye beer? Dunkelweizen? You be the judge. More of a dw for my money.

3.6
