Light white wine pour. Aroma is light tang, mild lemony citrus. Taste is full bodied brett and oak with a butter popcorn thing happening on finish. Nice fullness on mouth. Overall, nice farmhouse.

Sample at the 2014 Infected Chimipalooza on 11/01/2014. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium foamy white head that recedes gradually. Small patches of lacing. The aroma is bretty with herbal and fruity notes. Medium-bodied with flavors of floral yeast, funky fruit and malt. The finish is moderately tart with a sour grape and citrus aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Bright and lively is right. Brightly funky, a little winey and oak. Low bitterness and some lemon and grape tartness in both flavor and aroma. A classic contemplative yet sessionable beer. Loved it."

Bottle... Pours murky and golden with a short-lived, fizzy, white head. The complex aroma is a fruity, herbal and funky intermingling of pale grains, citrus acidity, earthy fallen oak, English lavender and leather. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. The flavor is a mélange of sweet pale malts, lightly tart acidity and bright herbal notes. Short, citric, snappy finish. Bottle courtesy of landhoney!

(750ml bottle) cloudy medium orange, fine offwhite bubbles. Nose of apricot, Brett, lightly tart, mossy cellar floor, old books, and caramel. Taste of earthy Brett, stonefruit, oddly tart but not sour, bit of caramel, yeasty.

So good. Floral and slightly sour. Great for the summer. Little to no white head and cloudy golden appearance.

Bottle split at Bruce’s pad, massive thanks for another OR hook up from our host with the most, Brucey Di B 16/01/14.
Hazed orange with a good sized off white head that quickly collapses to spotting and edgework.
Nose is funk’o’clock, bitter apricot, tarte orange, citric drenched hay. Taste comprises tarte mandarins, mellow soured fruits, damp wood, grass, bitter apricot, barnyard, lemon rind, hay bales.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tarte fruit lead in a drying closure.
Nicely balanced easy drinking sour.

Scopey (15862) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 18, 2014
Bottle courtesy of deeblo. It pours hazy golden with a small white head. The nose is wood, vanilla, earthy, hay, peach, apricot and light sherbet. The taste is smooth, soft fruits, brett, wood, soft peach, apricot and floral notes with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. No great depth, but smooth, soft and very drinkable. Tasty.

Bottle with a big cheers to Bruce for one of my favourite’s of the night. Pours hazy golden with a big fluffy white head. Nose is big, sweet tropical fruits - so much mango, melon, passionfruit and mandarin, with moderate and balanced funk and lime juice. Very juicy and appealing stuff. Taste is citric juice, huge mango and tangerine, quite zesty and funky. Big, bright fruits behind the barnyard notes of funk, nice mild spice. Absolutely quaffable stuff. Very approachable sour. Fantastic

Tasting at the pad of the ever gracious Bruce and cheers to him for this one. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Smooth palate, fresh with nice fine carbonation. Delightfully light and smooth malt. Very light floralness. Mellow orange - tangerine. Finishes smooth with more fine csrbonation. Joins up really well in to light, tasty and very drinkable beer.
