Bottle shared in MV with the fam. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold, effervescent, with a creamy, white head. The nose has some doughy wheat bread, sourdough, lemon meringue. Light-medium sweet flavour, with low bitterness, a little straw, very slight acidity, mellow alcohol warmth. Light to medium bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes with a bit of warmth, some pear, white grape, melon, more sourdough. Pretty clean and drinkable.

Cloudy blond color with compact head. Mild yeasty and spicy aroma. Dry mouthfeel; light bread flavor, light stale bread impression too, plastic touch, timid yeast spiciness, ordinary bitterness. Can’t identify it as Farmhouse, just a dry Wheat.
Tap at the Commons brewery, PDX, 26/05/13.
Lightly hazed pale blonde with a thin white head that dissipates to the edge.
Nose carries yeast esters, toffee, spice, dark fruits.
Taste comprises pear drops, touch of spice, light banana tones, sugars, yeast.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweetish in the finish.
This was drinkable stuff but not really what I look for in a saison, it came over more as a Belgian ale. mcberko (18979) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 20, 2012
On tap at APEX, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of mandarin oranges, Belgian yeast, dough and slight candied sugar. Flavour of Belgian yeast, slightly sweet dough, and crackery malt. Not as rustic or authentic as I like my saisons. Pretty bland and light, but decent. Gave a cloudy pour, so cloudy tan with a big head, yeasty, peppery, floral nose is classic saison. Sweet malty, pale malt, character with peppery yeast, dusty character. Good balance...sound example.
