On tap at the brewpub - Pours hazelnut mahogany with a white head. The aroma has toasty malt, richness, lager smoothness and light nuttiness. It’s medium bodied with nice smoothness and then gets crisper with the carbonation. The taste starts with the aroma notes and finishes with some spicy hops. Very nice and quite true to style. douglas88 (9687) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 25, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Pours a red purple brown color with a medium off-white head. A big sweet malty nose. The flavor is light chocolate, berries, toffee, some earthy sweet malt bases, berries in the finish. Very big beer, awesome. andrewje41 (4338) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - DEC 23, 2014
Draft pour at special brews. Pours an amber color with a big foam head. Nutty, malty aroma. Flavorful lager with a lot of bread and soft, sweet malt. Finishes sweet and smooth. Pretty good stuff. slowrunner77 (12972) - Reno, Nevada, USA - AUG 28, 2014
This golden elixir has a pleasantly floral nose with hints of underlying sweet malts. The feel and flavor were crisp. Very much a standout in a style I usually don’t care for." Experiment_Ale (1098) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 6, 2014
At the Commons with Taylor, Stephen, and Dina. Pours arm ruby red no head. Aroma is grainy grassy malt. Taste is raw barley, hay, grassy. Light authentic fresh flavorful lager. I like it.

Bright amber. Mild toasty character, sweetish. Finishes weaker, maybe ale like, a little lacking in presence. 50belair (3684) - Florida, USA - JUN 11, 2014
On tap at the brewery. Clear dark amber pour white head. Malty aromas. Light malt and biscuit notes. Good body and mouthfeel. For a lager, this is a winner... fiulijn (21399) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 2, 2014
Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Amber color, clean, with compact head. The aroma is too light, some caramel. The mouthfeel is very dry, quite weak; caramel flavor with a touch of cereals; common bitterness, with light ending bready touch.
Clean but too simple.
