Unclear medium to dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, cacao notes, moderate yeasty, belgium yeast, dark fruit, brown sugar, light spicy yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, abbey dubbel yeast - belgium yeast, dark fruit, belgium yeast, brown sugar - candy, sweet yeast, light spicy yeast ala - anis seed. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160905]

Tap @ Beer Temple. Clear deep amber/copper to brown color. Off white head, not much. Aroma’s of sugar and red fruit. Retronasal it’s red fruit, sweet. Flavor is moderate sweet, caramel, light roast. Medium bodied. OK but nothing exciting.

Tap at BeerTemple. Clear reddish brown with small beige head. Lots of brown sugar and caramel, light roasted notes, milk chocolate. There’s a light herbal and alcoholic touch in the finish. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with slick feel.

Malty, fruity taste with caramel, candy sugar, red fruit, orange peel, a touch of chocolate and a gentle spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fairly complex, but well balanced and tasty. Quite nice.

Sampled from tap at the Oedipus International Beer Festival 2016. Hazy, reddish brown with an off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, nuts and some spices. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a little spicy taste of caramel, dark chocolate, cinnamon and some nuts, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.

Aroma is milk chocolate, roasted malt, dried fruits. Medium sweet, medium bitter. Finish is medium lasting roasty medium bitter-sweet. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Easy dessert beer, simple but tasty, nice one.
