Rich orange beer. Quite effervescent. Rocky head. Nose is at first impenetrable. Nothing but maybe the slightest little bit of orange peel. Round bitterness. As it warms this morphs into something much more rewarding. Funky dryness. Blue cheese and ripe oranges. Lots of malt stickiness to pick up in the nose. Hops are apparent but get lost in the dryness and carbonation. If dry hoppped this thing would smell spectacular. Flavors are a serious sprouting of these qualities. Oranges for days, excellent c-hop bitterness...but truthfully this thing is a malt pocket. sweetness that is both apricot like and full of cane sugar. Slight tart sourness mostly sweet love. Excellent example of the style

Look is clear, copper colored with an off white head. Smell is hops, pine, citrus, and toasted bread. Taste is bread, malts, caramel, hops, pine, and citrus.

From the tap this poured a clear golden body with a modest white head. Good lacing, nonetheless. The aroma is a light caramel, grain, and some citric bitterness. Well balanced in flavor, the hops take on a more distinct grapefruit, zest of lemon, and pine flavor. Sessionable.

Draught at the brewpub
Golden color. Some malt aroma. The flavor is malty, with some caramel, some residual sweetness, and with a bold bitterness, a bit fruity (the hop is quite good, yet doesn’t taste as Cascade).

Pour is golden with thin off white head...smell is slight, but there are some citrus notes to it...taste is decently balanced with some grapefruit bitterness in the finish...

Urine pour witha bleach white head. Nose was floral bath soaps. Sharp on the carbonation. Ok brew.

On tap at the brewery: Once again very bright light amber color with retained off white head. Aroma is of citrus hops. Really nice bitter hoppy flavor with citric goodness. Smooth rounded mouthfeel. Yummy.

Draft at the brewery: poured golden bronze with a small white head. Too cold but this one I allowed to wamr up a bit while finishing the Amber. As with the Amber, it was earthy yet not as much as that. A little too carbonated for my liking but it was full flavored and well-balanced.

Tap. Dark yellow body, medium PNW hops, mild bitterness. Weird off “snappy” bitter taste. Good aftertaste, nose has a slight garbage juice edge to it. A mediocre pale ale on its own, but pairs with food quite nicely.
