Bottled. A dark amber beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma is powerful with a weird combination of spices and fruit. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruit and light notes of alcohol, with a dry bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. joergen (28177) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 12, 2011

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of boboski. Clear, dark, amber golden with a creamy, beige head leaving some lacework. Fat aroma of caramel and aroma hops. Quite full-bodied, somewhat sticky sugar and caramel accents. Some floral accents and some bitterness in the finish. Not very balanced. 171107 Travlr (24930) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JAN 29, 2012
Bottle courtesy of Grima, thanks! Lots of caramel, as expected, but better character and complexity than most barleywines. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 17, 2010

Bottle shared during RBWG 2015 - Tampa. Pours mostly clear amber-gold with a white foam head. The nose holds toasted crackers, tangy fruits, bread. Medium sweet flavor with more tangy fruits, berries, leafy hops, booze. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with ripe fruits, bready malts, suggestions of age. So so.
