Rabbit Hoppy Bunny American Black Ale is both intensely hoppy and intensely BLACK! Very dark and very good. This is one hell of a beer. SudsMcDuff (8463) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - FEB 3, 2015
Pours with the usual DR head, massive foamy head .. . Medium roadt and plucky coffee from an old metal cup .. Ok I suppose but oozes the DR charm .. . You are a fantastic person and everyone loves your butt.

Bottle to shaker glass. This one was a gusher. Pours black, strong light reveals a red hue. 3+ finger pillow head, soapy lacing, retains head to the bottom of the glass. Aroma of tobacco, dark roasted coffee and pine. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter. Medium body, lively carbonation, resin sticky mouth feel. Finishes long and complex. Tasting notes of cocoa, coffee, fig, spruce, citrus and toffee. This is a solid offering. solidfunk (9224) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JAN 31, 2015
Light citrus aroma but mostly roast malt here. Pots black with good mocha head and lacing. Medium bitter finish. Some coffee. Bottle. AirForceHops (7546) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - JAN 18, 2015
12 oz. bottle from The Beer Shoppe. Massive carbonation on a slow tiled pour. The head lasted until the end of the glass with the mouthfeel having a very lively; effervescent feel. The aroma is a bouquet of floral hops and mild chocolate. skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 10, 2015
Great body that almost leads me to believe this is a hoppy stout, nice and full. Citrus and chocolate compliments the nice lingering pine that lasts well after the sip. Some dry roast on the tongue. I enjoy this style and rather often. This Black IPA / CDA is among the top in class, nicely crafted.
Pours almost pitch black with brown hues, with a one finger tan head with nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, pine, roasted malts, coco, coffee, sweet malts, caramel, and some brown sugar. Taste is about the same as the aroma but has even more citrus and pine notes. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi-moderately bitter, medium-long finish. Overall, a pretty nice, hoppy, Black IPA. FS_Fletch (2) - - JAN 1, 2015 does not count
I like drinking this beer. My granddad is buried in the town where Duck Rabbit calls home.
Nice and dark; with tinges of ruby-red. Tan head that Lingers. Complex hop finish.
Dark maltiness plays well with aggressive hops.
Flavors leaning towards darker beer styles, yes with the balance of an IPA.
