Poured with little carbonation. Sweet aroma. Taste of mocha with a bit less sweetness. Thicker on the tongue but not heavy.wwll balanced. Sweet and bitter blend extremely. I usually only do stouts in winter but this has year round drinkabiliry due to its light yet complex flavors. jc1762 (1471) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 15, 2016
Bottle poured into a pilsner showing pitch black with coffee black rims and very sparse latte colored foam.
The nose shows a lactose sweet note throughout on top of a bed of roasted malts.
The palate is light bodied with light carbonation. Immediate subtle lactose sweetness appears but closer to a soybean-like sweetness. Barely any bitterness. A bit thin on flavor all around and a very simple milk stout. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 4, 2016
