COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A hoppy Rye ale with eight additions of Pacific Jade hops and a substantial amount of rye malt. The citrusy, peppery Jade hop compliments the woodsy, earthy characteristics of the rye and is balanced by the subtle caramel malt sweetness.

Pint at Tylers.Apex. Good.aroma, sweet. Orange, peach, rye. Clean brownish orange color. Good head, spotty lace. Bittersweet flavor. heavy body, smooth creamy mouthfeel, bitter finish. Another tasty Paula Holiday. Has real bite on finish.

Cask at the Black Friday Cask Festival, Triangle Brewing, Durham. Looks like this beer only made it to Durham and Philadelphia on cask pour. Nice, viscous, semi-cloudy orange with a firm, filmy head to it. Sharp and pungent nose, this one was a hoppy rye with loads and loads of Pacific Jade hops. Not overwhelming, but extremely floral and sumptuous, with nice pepper spice from the rye (and part of it is from those Southern Hemi hops too), well balanced and very flavorful.
