Bottle @ Chris_o shindig 2007. Dark black color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is licorice, dark chocolate, some roasted malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, fonish feel is light ot moderate alcoholic. Liqourice and mild fruity mixed with a distinct bitterness coming through. Fruity, mild acidic and dark roasted malt into a bitter and distinct hoppy finish. Bottled. A pitch black beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of chocolate, and medium notes of roasted malt lending it a bit of acidity, but also hints of citrus. Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and molasses aroma. Roasted malty dark chocolate flavor with some bitter hints. Has a roasted malty dark bitter chocolate finish with some weak hints of coffee in the aftertaste.
