They say an elephant never forgets. When it comes to this double IPA, you won’t either. This gentle giant certainly certainly has mad hops, but ferments out dry (,) so it’s not too malty on the finish. Clocking in at 10.8 percent ABV, it’s definitely not for the timid mice amongst you. Put on your trunks and dive in.

Pours a hazy, orange-copper with a off white head. Piney aroma with a little bit of citrus. Taste is not too good - a little mediciny. Many other better IPAs or DIPAs out there. Will not buy again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Canned from World Market. Super sweet up front. A little breadiness as well. Smooth and sweet with a touch of alcohol burn. A hint of an off flavor, but still fairly clean. Syrupy sweetness dominates with a fairly hoppy finish. Decent enough.

16 oz can from Total Wine - Henderson. Hazy orange body, thick fluffy head subsides to small sticky ring, spotty lacing. Malty aroma, reminiscent of a barley wine, some citrus. Taste too is malty up front, caramel, oranges, dank, floral. A mish mash of flavors, but I like it. I can see the others points of views, but it works for me.

Pours cloudy amber with a small off-white head, light lacing. Aroma is malty, caramel and pine. Flavor of sweet malts, caramel, grassy and resin
Too sweet and malty for me

From a can with around 3 months aging, and poured into a Het Kapittel chalice. Amber gold color with big head of clouds. Subtle aroma of robust hops and grains. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of pale malt, straw hops, grapefruit rind, pine sap, slight toothpaste, grains, minerals, and pixie dust. Overall bright, robust, flavorful, hoppy in a happy way...sweet. I could do another.

Can: Poured orange with off white head. Aroma is huge hops with malts. Taste is juicy hops with backbone maltiness.

Aroma is citrus, light pine, floral and strong fruit. The flavor is sweetish malts, grapefruit, mild pine needles and an alcoholic/spicy/increasingly bitter finish.

Light amber color with a diminishing khaki colored head. Sweet aromas, with ripe fruit, grapefruit, apricots, hints of sorghum and grainy bread. Heavier feel. Flavors much too much like the aromas, with sweet fruit and hints of alcohol. Fine call me a timid mouse.

473ml can. This brewery all of the sudden popped up and htis isn’t west-coast sytle. Shitty sweet double ipa, meh.

UPDATED: NOV 19, 2016 pours a hazy copper gold with a thick frothy persistent off white head. Earthy aroma with some light lemon citrus and pine. Oily thick mouth feel. Some spicy bite right from the get go. Definitely hop bitter, but with some additional vague spice notes. Different, but good. Leaves a floral linger in the sinuses. This is really an odd IIPA, but I like it.

Surprised to find two new ones while on the golf course a couple weeks ago. This and the nitro coffee stout from sam Adams. This worked well enough for me. A decent hop bite. The only real problem I had was that the strength of a couple of these all hit me at the same time, just as we were finishing up. Got a little too drunk.
