This stout poured a deep black colour with a creamy brown head. Minimal lacing. Scents include caramel, cocoa and Melliods cough drops. First swig was a little watery but delicious nonetheless. Flavours of caramel, burnt toast and dark cocoa. Finish is nice and burnt with a little hop bitterness lingering.

Tap. Black with a brown head. Aroma is coffee, molasses, white tobacco. Full body, soft carbonation. Taste is coffee, torefaction, ending with vanilla. Nice bitter end.

2017-03-16. Black body tan head. 3+ Aroma of dry toasty roast over dark malt. Flavour is similar, fairly bitter toasty roast over pleasant dark malt. Notes of cocoa grow as it warms up. Light fruity undertones. Alcohol not noticeable at all. 7++ Average bodied palate, moderate carbonation. Tasty. 7/4/7/3/16 Bottle from the brewery, NOTL.

Where and how: pub crawl @ Toronto

Aroma: easy going, straight aroma with soft refined alcohol vibe.

Appearance :

Top: tanned, medium top with some lace on glass.

Base: clear, dark brown

Palate : smooth, clean, medium bodied, average finish.

Taste: front moist, earthy, roasty. Easy going foreign stout. Alcohol feel well build in.

sudomorph (1192) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 8, 2016
Pours a near black with a thin, beige head. Aroma has great notes of roasted malts, dark fruits, caramel, molasses, dark sugar, and a slight fruitiness. Taste is balanced with a nice bitterness. Roasted malts, caramel, dark fruits, and a drawn out, roasty ending.

jksipa (1022) - Newmarket, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 27, 2016
Bottle from the brewery. Pitch black pour under a one finer slow fading mocha head. Nose has tons of roast coffee, nuts, dark chocolate and some notes of vanilla and flowers. Light molasses sweetness supports a much bigger coffee and chocolate bitterness with definite nuttiness. Mouth is full and creamy with soft carbonation and nice dry finish. Great smooth stout with a big bitter profile.
