Tap @ Mikkeller. Muddy opaque chestnut pour and a nice pillowy latte head. Aroma is hop forward with bright citrus fruits, zesty tea, a bit soapy, a small cocoa hint and a bit of butter (diacetyl I guess) presence. Taste is brightly hoppy and citrus/pink grape forward. A farmhouse-esque note, chiming in with fruity esters and flowery notes. Lastly a tasting note somewhat reminiscent of how I imagine toilet cleaner would taste. Slightly dense malt flavour carrying a hint of cocoa nibs, but not any particular roasted notes. Tasty, but the yeast and hops are not a particularly heavenly combination. rouhlas (3584) - GREECE - JUN 23, 2015
