Review from backlog, draft at Farmer’s Cabinet 07/23/2013. Hazy copper orange pour, smooth fluffy head. Aroma is fruity, tart: orange, apple, lemon, light wheat, floral, musky salt. Taste is pleasantly tart, green apple, citrus flesh, apricot, some salt on the tongue in the finish. Light palate, crisp, refreshing. Nice one. JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - NOV 22, 2012
On tap at Cask, Pimlico. Such a treat to have a gose, and this is likely the best FC beer I’ve had so far. Nice earthy golden/brown pour with medium carbonation. Nose is ripe and spicy, with modest funk, some herbs, and hints of fruit. Light mouthfeel but not insubstantial, nice mix of bitter and salty on the finish. Flavors are quite good, with the subtly integrated fruit flavors creating some interesting contrast with the salt and spice. Good one. ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - OCT 11, 2012
On tap at Pizza Paradiso (Wash. DC). Pours a hazy bright yellow color with a dense one inch white head with good retention. Slightly earthy aroma with sweet citrus, earhty grass, musty funk and bready yeast. Taste of lemony citrus hits you first before a rush of salt and spice and a biting graininess. The finish is tart with a mixture of salt and coriander spice. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation.

On tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. It pours a lightly hazy body, golden-yellow in color and topped by small, off-white head. The aroma is rather fruity, peaches mostly, some lemony notes, and wheat. It’s tart and lemony in the mouth, thin to medium body, dry and with a pleasant level of carbonation. Some wheaty flavors, and a tart and lemony finish. A very refreshing one, tasteful and pleasant. 120511 Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 4, 2012
On keg at The Cask Pub and Kitchen. Pours a dark golden colour with a decent white head. A lovely aroma of coriander, sea salt, papaya, passion fruit and oak. Similar flavours with great gose lemon sourness and salt to finish. Moderate carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Fantastic!

Draft at Farmer’s Cabinet. Pours golden with very little head. Big salt notes on the nose along with the coriander. Lots of Brett on the tongue which balances out the salt and seems to merge nicely with the coriander. It’s a tad herbal but the Brett comes through nicely in the finish. Very nice example of the style. corby112 (2804) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 24, 2012
Draft at The Farmers’ Cabinet.
Pours a hazy golden straw color with a thin, fizzy white head that quickly fades into a lasting ring. Spotty lacing left behind.
Slightly earthy aroma with sweet citrus, earhty grass, musty funk and bready yeast. The citrus is very prominent with lots of lemon rind countered by a decent farmhouse yeast presence.
Medium bodied but fuller than expected with some good balance of slightly earthy funk, tart acidity, citrus and salt. Salt flavor is present but not overwhelming and countered very nicely by the other notes. Slightly dry with earthy/damp funk as well as some lemon peel citrus and lemongrass. Again, the citrus is prominent but not as strong as nose suggests. Really well balanced, refreshing and easy to drink. snzcujo (282) - RUSSIA - JUL 11, 2012
On tap @ Craft Beer Co.
Aroma isnt so strong, need to sniff harder to get distinct notes.
Taste - the whole palette, citrus, lemon, vinegar, following by salty aftertaste.
Wasnt able to get any coriander notes.
Definitely very complex taste for only 4,5%

Tap. Boilermaker. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold body with a small fizzy white head that retained as a thin covering. The nose is slightly tart with some really interesting tropical fruit notes of passion fruit, mango, and peach, the coriander doesn’t really come across at all to me. The flavor is pretty decent, lots of spicy/fruity notes with that light touch of saltiness on the finish. Some nice, almost Berliner-like qualities on the finish. Quite refreshing and sharp. Lighter bodied with fizzy carbonation. Crisp and sharp finish. Not bad, but a slight step behind the other Gose that I had from another American brewer. teorn88 (7682) - Rimini, ITALY - JUL 1, 2012
Keg at Craft Beer Co. It pours a clear orange colour with a big soapy white head. Aroma is very flowery and fruity. Violets and apricots, some peaches as well. Taste is sour with a hint of salt. Tart apricots, lemon peel and grapefruit. Medium bodied and high carb’d. Overall, sour, fruity and refreshing, could you ask for more?
