Cask at the brewpub. Nice dark amber/copper pour. Aroma is malty, lots of caramel, a bit of something like boozy fruits. Taste is sweet, lots of caramel, light toasted notes, lacks bitterness (and desperately needs a little hop kick). Palate is thin with med (cask) carbonation. Ok. caesar (7392) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAR 16, 2014
Cask @ the Fiddler, small sample. Slight hazy amber color, short head. Aroma of grainy malt, herbal, slight earthy hop. Bit bitter in taste, malty. A bit too malty, not clean enough. and a weird extra herbal smell makes it not really good. sic1314 (4773) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - FEB 21, 2014

Tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is light malt. The flavour is weak bitter light sweet with a watery malt weak hop bitter palate. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. It looked like a decent pint, but that’s where the love affair ended :-( kermis (14955) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JAN 18, 2014
Cask at The Fiddler. Pours clear amber with a thick off white head. Aroma of caramel, malt and a little fruit. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter. Bitterness lingering in the finish and getting stronger along with some off-putting corn in the palate. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.
