COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Poors a golden colour, first sip slightly reveales the hops. Then it outbalances like a proper bitter. Be careful with this one, even though it is only 4,5%, you are in the lion’s territory!

On tap at the bewpub as Animal Army Lion’s Den. Pours dark golden topped with offwhite head. Mild malty nose, a bit smelly actually. Bittery start with slight malty back. Light. Nothing to write home about.

Draft @ Fiddlers. Pours a clear golden beer with a fizzy quickly disappearing white head on top. Aroma of stale hops, hay-ish malts and some corn. Flavor is bitter and watery, easy to drink and very uninteresting. Palate is dull, flavor bland and overall quite boring.

(The Fiddler Lion’s Den) Cask at The Fiddler, half pint. Deep orange colour on the body, clear, with a tall and thick white head, reducing to half its size evebtually and after that, very good retention. Aroma has some english hops, grass, light biscuit, all the aromas are faint once again. Taste of malts, unfermented grains, cheese, light bread, becomes better after it has breathed a bit. Medium thin body, soft carbonation. Okay beer, probably the weakest between those I tried.

Cask at the Fiddler brewpub, Den Haag. Lightly hazy pale gold beer, small white head. Light palate, semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Mild floral bitterness. Trace of lemon. Light finish. Inoffensive, but too polite.
