Clear pale blonde, steady stream of bubbles, fine white head. Grassy malt nose. Honey, dry apricots, cereal grain, fairly gassy but low carbonation. Sweet finish. Enjoyable but needs some hop balance, v malt led.
Bottle. Slightly misted gold with a slim white collar. Good grassy, minty herbal hop aroma. Soapy bitter hop with sappy green and herbal touches; lemon and saline touches; dab of G+T with underlying honey. Good. DanielBrown (4563) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2013
Bottle from Cotteridge WInes, Birmingham. Smells a wee bit factory floorish. Initially smooth, but slightly like a weak Golden, but then ’swoosh’ in comes a wave of noble hop flavour, which is a bit sweet, a bit herbal and a bit dried grass. Within a few swigs I was really liking this. Perhaps one of the best UK Pils I’ve had. olliejobbins (1577) - Dorking, Surrey, ENGLAND - FEB 27, 2013
From 500ml bottle, pours hazy amber with little head, smooth creamy malty with a hoppy finish, herbal aroma, crisp taste, a good pilsner.

On tap from street food market in Kingston. Bready malt combines with grassy hops, quite light and very drinkable. Lovely beer, RichardGretton (4862) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 30, 2014
Bottle. Golden beer with a fizzy bubbly body and a very light head. The aroma is dry with some hops, and the flavour is bitter with some hops and a mild degree of malty and yeastiness. Overall a reasonable dry and bitter beer.

Keg at the Euston Tap, London. Pours crystal clear yellow, lightly effervescent with a huge, foamy white head. Nose is all crisp dough and biscuits. Flavor is lightly sweet with some light dough, crackers, faint citrus zing, some light grassy bite. Pretty mild flavor. Medium bodied with average but cutting carbonation. Super crisp finish, some grains, doughy malts, light straw and grass. For a UK pils it isn’t bad. But it could stand to be a bit sweeter. It’s actually pretty dry. Quite refreshing, but does need a bit more malt foundation. knickskicks (1168) - - AUG 22, 2012
Keg. Straw yellow, nice white head. Straw, spicy hops, biscuit in the nose. Taste is dominated by spice and hops and some slight malt flavors, but the hops are easily most evident. A bit watery. rauchbier (3949) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - NOV 24, 2012
Bottle, from Jug & Bottle Bubwith. Gold, fluffy sustained white head and moderate condition. Pleasant chalky mineral maltiness and bohemian honeyed hop notes in the nose, quite dry and hop dominant in the mouth but with an underlying grain sweetness although all much more muted than in the nose, finish is mostly hoppy and bitter.
