Ethereal (2471) - Los Angeles, California, USA - APR 2, 2014
Draught at the Euston Tap, 26th May 2011. Orange amber with a bit of foam. Dry, quite woody, a bit bitter. Grapefruit, salt and a bit of grass on the nose. By Kernel standards, this is pedestrian. Peppery hop at the finish, sticks on the back of the throat.

Bottle from Pours hazy amber with a huge++ frothy off-white head.Aroma of fruity hops, passion fruit. Taste is smooth fruity and grassy hops, light sweet malty body. Dry moderate bitter end.

330ml bottle, Caramel and citrus aroma, hazy orange appearance with a fine white head that stays throughout. Slightly dry on the palate, with some dry leaf notes. Sherbert orange and lemon aftertaste and a short finish. Good stuff, again....

Bottle from Beer Merchants (I’m pretty sure I had this at the brewery also). It pours light hazy amber, with a decent white head. The nose is grapefruit, orange, mango and some urine. The taste is juicy orange citrus fruit, orange sherbet, grass and earth, with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Another solid Kernel offering, but a bit off their best.

[email protected] Beer co, London. Poured a vivid and enticing golden colour with a steady medium sized white head. Citrus, tropical fruit and hops stood out in a very appealing nose. Flavour was the bomb, grassy resin sodden hop and sweet malts aplenty, all exceedingly well balanced. Winning bitterness level. An all round stonker. You could say I dug it.

Ober (2811) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - AUG 9, 2011
Cask @ pre GBBF 2011. A clear yellow/golden colored beer, with no head. The aroma has notes of malts and some citrus. The taste is flat, sweet moving to some bitter. The aftertaste is bitter with some sweet.

rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 8, 2011
Bottled. Thanks to chriso. Golden colour with medium-sized head. Sweet malty with tropical fruits in aroma. Flavourwise there is vanilla, tropical fruits, swedensnus. Early bitterness. Medium sweet. The brits need to be braver when brewing US-style beers - throw in some more hops!

Leighton (22304) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 20, 2011
Cask at the Euston Tap. Pours a glowing, rich gold with a lingering, foamy white head. Huge cat pee nose, some grass and citric notes. Wow, amazing flavor, tons of fine grass, more cat urine, and good sweetness to hold it all up. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Bit more malt comes through at the end, plenty of resiny hops, some pine and citrus rind. Yet more piss! Outstanding.

Thanks Craig for sharing this bottle. Light golden ale with a decent white head. Aroma of pineapple, melon, passionfruit and resinous hops. Tastes fruity with passionfruit and pineapple notes and a little honey. Quite dry and bitter. Lovely oily mouthfeel.
