4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours a very black with a small, tanned head. Aroma is fresh brewed coffee all over, combined with some wheat. Flavor has coffee and coffee and some sweet, subtle flavors. Very full bodied, awesome beer!
Sampled from a bottle purchased at Prohibition Wines. Pours very dark, almost black, with a tan head. Great aromas of malt, dark coffee and chocolate. The taste is intensely sweet, with lots of coffee flavours and plenty of milk chocolate notes. Good bitterness to balance. This is a wonderful stout, a little sweet, but full to bursting with flavours. The coffee taste is well-integrated into the beer, creating a really appealing and original brew. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - NOV 16, 2012
Dark brown and beige head. Huge coffee, toast malts, chocolate and more coffee. Still enough hops though. Low smooth carbonation. Liquid chocolate, flavourful without needing too much alcohol. Great stuff. (33cl bottle at Deanso’s tasting) jmgreenuk (9448) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - NOV 16, 2012

On tap at the Craft Beer Co, Dec ’11.
Dark dark brown to almost black in colour with a small finger of white head.
Very powerful aroma’s hit the nose, strong coffee, burnt roasted malts, sugars and chocolate.
Tastes of an Expresso shot, very strong coffee flavours, a little on the sweet side, tan, woody, roasted.
A decent breakfast stout, maybe a little too sweet, particularly on the aftertaste.
