500ml bottle. ar: herbal hop and roasty. ap: black, minimal head, lacing. ta: medium sweetness, medium bitterness. pa: medium body, texture oily-creamy, carbonation lively. Finish: lingering bitterness and malt. Overall: well-flavoured stout/porter. Choice of hops compliment the roasty backbone.

Keg Third of a Pint at BrewDog, Clerkenwell, London in Jan 2016 - Opaque Black in colour. Good creamy beige head. Good lacing. Very Malty; deep roasty malts, coffee, espresso, dark chocolate. Fruity; dark fruits. Quite spicy. Hoppy; good hop bitterness. Great depth of flavour. Bittersweet roast coffee chocolate malty and spicy fruity throughout. Terrific Porter! (2016-01-16)

Bottle. Sensoric. Dark brown with medium, semi-thick, light brown head. Good head retention and moderate lacing. Moderately malty aroma - roasted, caramel, chocolate, coffee. Moderate hoppy aroma - mainly citrus (orange, grapefruit), slightly piney. Taste is moderately bitter and moderately sweet, quite hoppy. The bitterness lasts for quite a long time ends up with some grassy and ashy notes. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, finish is bitter, grapefruit, roasted, slightly chocolate and earthy. Summary: Taste and aroma are acceptable, nothing really outstanding. The good thing is quite diverse aroma as for the porter. Still slightly dusty, but in overall very good brew.

Pours a dark viscous cola brown with a light head. Hop-forward nose and indeed hop-forward tongue. Theres a nice coffee-chocolate oily malty bitterness underneath but its drowned out by the extremely assertive hops. Hoppy finish as well!

Czarne, nieprzejrzyste.

Very black with a nice mocha head which remains for a long time. Aroma has some dark malts but is dominated by hops. I estimate mosaic, there is that unique mosaic aroma of spicy/herbal earthiness. Flavour is similar. Medium body, dark malts give a chocolatey and coffee-like base. Beer is very hoppy, herbal/earthy. Has a delicious long finish with resiny, herbal hoppiness and dry chocolate. Wow. Awesome beer.

Bottle (from the Bierkoning,NL): Almost black,medium-sized and stable creamy and lacy tanned head; moderate to solid bitter-sweet nose of roasted malt, dried fruits, cacao&vanilla plus spicy hops in the background; almost solid bitter-sweet flavour with delicate sourish traces, medium bodied , soft to silky MF; lingering drier roasty and chocolatey finish with an increasing bitterness in the aftertaste. A very nice Porter...

Pours dark brown with medium head. Aroma: nice hops aroma, in particular some herbs, roasted sunflower seeds, plus roasted malt. Taste: roasted malt, again tons of hops reminding me of herbs, some coffee and chocolate. Very good.

Roasted notes, coffee, chocolate, practically black with a good tan head, medium body, too carbonated for me, again cholate than the hoppy profile with citrus...good beer.
