Level 42 bottleshare, Santa is flying past below! Opaque dark brown beer, good dark tan head that dissipates quickly. Palate is airy and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Softish and reasonably rich dark malts. Mild dark malt cream and a little dark chocolate. Light roast bitterness. Modest tangy dark fruits. Light and mildly bitter finish. Standard stout with that little bit of Kernel pixie dust that elevates it.

Bottle at level 42, thanks to Ken. It pours black with a thick tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malts, quite savoury, meaty, toasty, coffee grounds and bitter dark chocolate. The taste is slick, rich roasted malt, salty, savoury, meaty action, coffee grounds, bitter chocolate, spice and warming alcohol with a slick dry, mocha finish. Aroma is coffee, rich hoppy floral notes, roast malt, red berry. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is coffee, ashy, some tangy berry, hoppy-floral-salty vibes with an ashy finish.
