Black with a nice dark mocha head. Aroma has lots of coffee, bitter chocolate, roast, ash, cocoa butter, and some dark berries. Taste is roast, coffee, bitter chocolate, ash, burnt, full but not sweet. Palate very roasty, full but not sweet. Its very much an English stout, in the sense that if you cut it with equal amount carbonated water youd just get a regular (and very good) dry stout. Very nice beer.

9% ABV. very smooth, nicely chocolaty, roasty and berryish. Almost like a dried plum or plum jam kind of sweetness. Kind of an Imperial Foreign Stout.

33cl bottle. Pitch black pour with a thin tan head. Smells like dark cherries, cocoa, chocolate and roasted malts. The taste follows the same notes, with an addition of both brewed as well as roasted coffee. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation and a roasty bitter-sweet finish.

Pite w pubie Browariat w Katowicach. Barwa ciemnobrunatna, prawie czarna. Fantastyczny stout.

Just an outstanding example. Rich, thick, oily, full bodied mouthfeel. ABV well hidden, but the hum of alcohol is really well balanced with the flavour of the malts. tastes of chocolate, sherry, rich dried fruits. Not too roasty. which is working well with this beer (I do like them roasty too though). Even the Mrs likes it, and she drinks wine!

Muy buena. Tiene un aroma muy bueno. Bastante cuerpo, y deja un sabor largo con tonos a chocolate.

Jet black, low lingering brickish red head. Aroma cocoa powder, espresso. Robust body, roastiness nicely blends with sour cocoa nibs. Long lasting bitterness - well hopped. Maybe too much, otherwise rating would be bit higher.

Zlotta (2514) - Hagen, GERMANY - JUN 14, 2016
0.33 l bottle from De Bierkoning at 10% abv, bottled in October 2014. Pitch black with a medium large, creamy, almost stable, light brown head. Intense, sweetish, roasty aroma of dark chocolate, mocca, licorice and cocoa. Sweetish-malty, moderately roasty taste of dark chocolate, mocca, licorice, cocoa and hints of hazelnut, followed by a long, slightly warming, rather roasty-bitter finish. Full body, creamy ans viscid mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very intense flavours, great mouthfeel, overall very satisfying. Just lovely!
