Nice aroma and a fairly smooth sensation on the palate. Slight afternote of bitterness once consumed but pleasant enough.

Derbeth (946) - Kraków, POLAND - FEB 10, 2017
Bottle. Black colour, small head. Aroma is soy sauce, coffee, liquorice. I think it lacks some body. A bit harsh, not very drinkable.

Arôme fort chocolaté. Faible mousse. Très onctueuse. Plutôt soft pour une impériale. Très classique mais sans fausse note.

Ulysse (529) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JAN 23, 2017
Chocolate Aroma. Low head and low carbonation. Feels like a building block that could be used for a fancy imperial Stout. On its own it’s a very good stout but falls short of being an imperial Stout in my opinion. Could drink lots of this.

[email protected] Pours black with lazing tan head. Aroma is roasted, chocolate, vanilla, burned caramel and dried fruits. Taste is complex semi-sweet malty with dark malts, chocolate, dark caramel, dried fruit, vanilla, milk and has notes of coffee. Finish is malty and dry and has a rich and complex aftertaste.

BlazerT (1108) - Sosnowiec, POLAND - JAN 2, 2017
Bottle. Pitch black with small to medium, thick, light brown head. Heavy malty aroma, caramel, roasted, coffee, lots of milk chocolate, dried dark fruits up front - pruns, raisins, slightly toffee and licorice. Taste is heavy sweet and moderately bitter, stable, long duration. Full body, thick and oily texture, soft carbonation, finish is semi-bitter, semi-dry, slightly roasted, dark fruits. ABV is extremely well hidden, the brew is highly drinkable, it tastes like plums coated with milk chocolate. Summary: Very good brew. It shows how based on milk chocolate and dried fruits RIS should look like. Podsumowanie: Mleczna czekolada, toffi, krówki, sporo suszonych śliwek i rodzynek. Piwo nie powala swoją złożonościa czy wybitnie wysublimowanym charakterem, ale jest znakomitym old-schoolowym RISem. Mogło by być trochę więcej ciała.

Ysok02 (1564) - Mons, BELGIUM - DEC 29, 2016
Robe brune dense, fine mousse. Nez puissant sur les noisettes grillées, le café au lait, le malt torréfié, le chocolat noir, un fond de cerise, d’alcool de figue, très complexe. Bouche à l’attaque acidulée, rétro de chocolat noir,

BeardedAvenger (795) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - DEC 22, 2016
Bottle at home. Bought at Odd Bins, London Bridge. Sweet and sour coffee aroma. Chocolate too. Dark with chestnut highlights. The dark beige head soon dissipated. Sweet, a hint of bitterness that is more obvious in the finish. Full bodied. Creamy, even slick. No carbonation. Long finish, slightly astringent at its tail end. Good stuff. Warming but also pleasant with it.

Jashiu (1324) - Gdañsk, POLAND - DEC 15, 2016
Backlog. Synchronizing with notes and Untappd.
Sweet taste of dried fruit and some chocolate. Very pleasant and well balanced. Smooth. Beauty!
