Opaque dark brown beer. Chocolate - brown head. Smooth palate, semi dry. Lactose malt with a trace of chocolate plays support to some rich coffee. Turns back in to some smooth dark chocolate which in turn segues seamlessly in to some hop bitterness. Dry finish. Bitter lingering aftertaste. Smooth tasty beer where every mouthful was intertesting. One of these is going in the back of the cellar for a year!
