UPDATED: DEC 3, 2014 Bottle; from Brwery, thanks Evin! Opaque black colour, mocha lacing diminishes, aroma is smoke, chocolate, light peat, fudge, some citrus hops. Taste is superb. Stunning dark Belgian chocolate, like real premium stuff, smoke, some leather, some peat, fudge, toffee, roasted malts, a littel rough on the bitternes, oil ,vanilla, raisins, brown sugar, depth and complexity is stunning, really long drinking and warms up very very nicely. Ken is right, lay this for a year and it woulld be intrigueing. I may do the same. Great work, Evin! Drinkability is there and alcohol is well hidden. Great stuff. Bottle - bottled on 7th October 2013 - re-rate. Deep guey chocolate gateaux; motor oil; tar; leather; velvet; stupidly drinkable for the abv; nice roasted malts; slight charcoal; cigar ash and wooden notes. Some blackcurrant and oil and cream. A very rich and rewarding imperial stout and in my eyes probably the best in the country of course along with GKHR SR. Aged this is even better! 4.5

Bottle. Magnifique !

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2017 Something like a savory chocolate stout. Nice coffee and alcohol aftertaste, perhaps not enough going on in the foreground.

Pretty standard imperial brown. Flavors of roasted coffee and chocolate. Not much complexity to start or finish. Drinkable and nice, but nothing to rave about in my personal opinion

0,33l bottle at home bought from Beergonzo. Bottled 20.10.2016. BB 20.02.2021. ABV 9.5%. black color, very small coffee-colored head. smells licorice, earthy, light vanilla, some ash, light coffee. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of ash, earthy, licorice, peppery, spices, light vanilla, light dill, some soy sauce, some light alcohol, light caramel. finishes roasty and lightly sweet with notes of ash, earhty, soy sauce and some vanilla. good one overall, not the biggest fan of the balance, soy sauce and vanilla dont work so well for me, but overall still nice beer.
