UPDATED: DEC 3, 2014 Bottle; from Brwery, thanks Evin! Opaque black colour, mocha lacing diminishes, aroma is smoke, chocolate, light peat, fudge, some citrus hops. Taste is superb. Stunning dark Belgian chocolate, like real premium stuff, smoke, some leather, some peat, fudge, toffee, roasted malts, a littel rough on the bitternes, oil ,vanilla, raisins, brown sugar, depth and complexity is stunning, really long drinking and warms up very very nicely. Ken is right, lay this for a year and it woulld be intrigueing. I may do the same. Great work, Evin! Drinkability is there and alcohol is well hidden. Great stuff. Bottle - bottled on 7th October 2013 - re-rate. Deep guey chocolate gateaux; motor oil; tar; leather; velvet; stupidly drinkable for the abv; nice roasted malts; slight charcoal; cigar ash and wooden notes. Some blackcurrant and oil and cream. A very rich and rewarding imperial stout and in my eyes probably the best in the country of course along with GKHR SR. Aged this is even better! 4.5

Aroma: Medium-high roastiness, coffee. Medium smoky. Appearance: Opaque, black body. Medium, brown colored head. Fine bubbles. Lacing. Good retention. Flavour: Medium-high roastiness, coffee, bitterness. Medium-light molasses, sweetness. Light smokiness. Dry finish with lingering roastiness, coffee. Mouthfeel: Full, smooth body. Medium-low carbonation, creamy. Light warming. Overall: A powerful roasty/coffee experience with a hint of smokiness. A sipping beer for sure! 330 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Christel! 20C. Czarne, piana brązowa - okazała. Aromat średnio intensywny - gorzka czekolada, słodki likier, trochę kawy, delikatna paloność. W smaku słodyczka przełamana wytrawną palonością. Dużo czekolady gorzkiej, trochę kawy. Świetny balans. Alkohol bardzo dobrze ukryty. Nagazowanie niskie. Piwo zupełnie nie przytłacza. Deserowy charakter, a jednak ma w sobie coś takiego, że chciałoby się wciąż więcej. Świetna propozycja!

0.33 l bottle shared with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran during a tasting session in the summer of 2017. Thanks! Oily and black, minimal brown head. Black malts, black olives and leather. Dry, wood, sticky sweetness. Very thick, medium body, moderate finish. Good.

As soon as it is poured from the bottle this beer doesn't disappoint. Black with a tan head, the aroma is coffee with a bit of a nuttiness to it. Taste is earthy, sweet, coffee and milk chocolate but the finish has a bitterness to it that is really well balanced. Good body? Smooth and velvety. The Kernel never fails to disappoint. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Barwa czarna, piana niewielka, beżowa. Aromat kakaowy, lekko kawowy, waniliowy, czekolada. W smaku mocno gorzka czekolada, lekka kwaskowa kawa, delikatna wędzonka i popiołowość. Pifko gęste, alko lekko wyczuwalne. Dobre pifko.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2018 Pours a pitch black coloration with a medium, creamy head. Smells wonderfully of dark chocolate, coffee and caramel malt, with just a hint of licorice. Taste follows the nose, with a rich dark chocolate and roasted coffee taste, backed up by roasted, caramel malt and a hint of licorice. Very rich and smooth mouthfeel, almost oily. There's not a hint of boozyness to this, with an incredibly rich flavor profile and mouthfeel. Probably the best non-BA Stout I've ever had.
