Draught at the brewery. Thanks Nate for bringing this on during the RBESG-gathering. Black beer with a brown head. Oak and vanilla aroma, milky, chocolate, cocoa. Huge vanilla flavor, oaky, spicy, vinous, fruity, figs, metal notes. Too much vanilla but still good. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - AUG 8, 2011

On tap at the brewery. Thanks to Nate for this RBESG special. Opaque dark brown beer, little tan head. Dark chocolate and vanilla nose - very nice. Light dry palate. Rich dark malt. Fresh wood, dark chocolate and vanilla. Trace of coffee underneath. A little minerals. Dry woody finish with a mildly bitter aftertaste. The only thing keeping this great beer from a higher score is a slight trace of paint.
Draft at the brewery. Thanks to Nate and the crew for this special brew. Extremely dark brown color, three bubble head. Aroma of Madagascar! Taste has vanilla, coffee, chocolate liqueur. Very smooth. Delicious. yespr (45464) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - AUG 7, 2011
From tap at the brewery. Aroma is distinct vanilla and dense caramelish. Bitter, vanilla, dark malty and light sweet. Dense vanilla, roasted malt and sweet finish. Way too sweet and vanilla dense for me. harrisoni (18578) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 6, 2011
On tap at The Kernel. Black beer with few tan bubbles. Some soft carbonation. Dryness on finish. Yes a fair amount of vanilla. Now normally i dont like these type of beers but this i find sippable and pretty satistying. I quite it.
