COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We have brewed a beer to commemorate the birth of our son. It is a strong dark beer which hopefully will keep until he is of age to drink it. Brewed in collaboration with Phil Lowry, Simon Siemsgluess and Chrigl Luthy. Bottled.

pivnizub (10804) - Bochum, Porř, GERMANY - DEC 24, 2015
Bottle(purchased in 2011,@The Bottle Shop, Canterbury):Literally black, stable, but very small tanned foamy layer, very solid bitter, fruity, roasty and leathery nose; solid sweet-bitter flavour, full bodied, smooth; soft and solid lingering bitter and sweet finish with flavours of leather, roasted malt, port and dried fruits. Not the worst session-beer…

Bottle @ The Clerkenwell Share. Thanks to whoever found this longtime want! Deep brown pour with a small head. Nose shows cocoa-covered red berries. Somewhat tangy. Showing interesting signs of age. Tangy blackcurrant and rich toasty malts. Espresso. Oxidization can really hurt a beer, but here it seems to have given this stout some interesting complexity. Really fun to try.

The_Osprey (9101) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2014
330ml bottled Sep 2010 at 12.5%, so over 4 years old now. Black, just a small ring of head. Aroma is yeasty and a little metallic, oil, dark chocolate syrup. Nice aspects but could be better. Body is full, smooth, soft carbonation. Body is spot-on. Taste is smooth malty molasses, chocolate, some ’cold’ tangy alcoholic high notes, a little goat cheese. Drying, woody, bitter finish. Very good.
