330ml bottle, consumed on 2 December 2010. Brewed on 29/09/10. Very dark. Brown head. Lasting. Rich chocolate character. Lots of bitterness too. Very rich. Just a little alcoholic, but it’s more warming than burning.

[330ml bottle from Evin at the Kernel] Pours jet black with a thin tan read that reduces to a lacing very quickly. Deep, treacly roast aromas, coffee on the nose as well. Really thick mouthfeel, bitter 100% dark chocolate flavours at first, then a rich velvety sweetness with a bitter punch of alcohol. Coffee and tobacco with a bit of ash there on the aftertaste Big, rich, sweet aftertaste. Quite delicious and really something gunnar (9989) - Sandnes, NORWAY - FEB 13, 2011
