Bottle at the brewery. Hazy orange beer, tidy white head. Smooth palate- but with a crispy edge. Semi dry. Subtle herb, sweet orange and then grapefruit bitterness. The Riwaka was noticeable here but not the Nelson. Dry finish, a little pithy. Need to spend some more time on this one - it’s more complex than I have described. Original rating 3.7

A little bit of cream in the malt. Nice hops! Mild tangerine and subtle mango. Mild minerals and a little aniseed. Finishes with fresh orange and a dash of grapefruit and a little peach. Just a mildy bitter aftertaste but it has real legs and lingers on and on.
