UPDATED: NOV 23, 2012 330ml bottle from beermerchants.com. Orange colour, no head. Mild sweet hoppy aroma. Sour hop flavour. Slightly sour aftertaste. Not the best I have had from The Kernel, I wonder if it has been in the garage too long even though the sell by date is next July. Bottle at home, 15th April 2012. Nice dark orange beer, perfect carbo and palate. Aroma of pine and peach some grapefruit and pineapple. Taste is pine, loads of peach, marmalade, well balanced light bitterness. One of the best Kernel IPAs. Palme (4823) - Bergen, NORWAY - APR 10, 2012
0.33l bottle from beermerchants.com This is actually my first (of many) beers from one of the hippest brewers out there today; The Kernel. The pour on this one is heavy heavy hazy golden-orange, no, lets call it what it actually is, it’s damn damn murky! And, it has a small bubbly just off-white head that sticks to the sides of the glass. The bottle has about 2 centimeters of sediments! Totally insane.. The hops quickly fills the room with a fruity sorbet-fresh aroma with both citrus, honey, grassy hops and tropical peach. Not extreme aroma, but still quite present and very nice. A slick oily texture with a average carbonation level. Not as fresh in the taste as I had thought. Not sure how old this one is, but it’s clearly not completely fresh. Still, it tastes quite nice with lots of bittering hops, some heather honey and lots of tropical fruits like peach and passion fruit. Ends light mouthdrying with a lasting bitter aftertaste. A good one, and god damned this was a murky one! 09.03.2012 Pinball (12310) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 27, 2012

Bottle. Dark golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is very strongly hopped and dry, and likewise the flavour is well hopped with a slightly malty and very bitter dry finish. Overall a reasonable strongly flavoured IPA.
