3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy brown color with fine head. Wonderful hoppy aroma and flavor, very well balanced and doesn’t seem so strong.
Bottle @ home. Dark brown color with a dark red glare coming through when held into the light, full sized, creamy, tan head that lasts for quite a long time. Aroma is malts, lightly roast, hops, perfectly balanced. Taste malts, roasted malts, a nearly perfect mix between roasted malts and hops. I don’t get any of the sourness nor chocolate that some of the users apparently tasted. Average to decent body, medium carbonation. Top notch black IPA if you ask me! Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is roasted coffee, tropical fruit, taste is similar, chocolate, dry. Inbreak (6728) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - JUL 25, 2013

Big creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly neutral, dark malts, hops, wet leafs, grass, caramel, rubber, thinner. Taste is harsh sour-ish, dark malts, old hops, cardboard, harsh grass, wet leafs, rubber, burnt caramel. Medium bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Old bottle that has passed it’s pride.
Expired bottle (bb09.03.13) Deep brown with a slightly tan head. Pine and resinous aroma along with roasted malts. A rather harsh flavour is obscuring what has propably been an awesome brew, but the age has taken its toll on this one, and I can only curse myself for not drinking it earlier. Still has decent bitterness and some pine/resin. Medium to medium-pluss body and soft carbonation. ClubGonzo (5683) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 24, 2013
UPDATED: JUL 25, 2013 Bottle, shared with Beer Geek Tasting Crew @ "Best Before Last Summer Tasting 2013". Dark brown body, small white head. Nose is licorice, burnt sugar, herbal notes and hints of resin. Taste is licorice, burnt sugar, resin, oxidized dark fruits and some lingering bitter notes in the finish. Hints of dark chocolate. Medium body, soft carbonation. Ok, but sadly another case of overaging. Our bad.

330ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Soap, pine, liquorice and chocolate in the aroma. Hoppy, roasted and slightly soapy taste with notes of chocolate, liquorice and roasted malt. The_Bish (1118) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - SEP 4, 2012
Oh boy. This is good. Saved bottle from while back cause it was just too tasty. Not had another BIPA like it. No coins. No coins. Just full thick standard BIPA flavours without the tuppence. All good smooth tasty. fiulijn (21516) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 9, 2012

Dark brown color, with creamy beige creamy head. Very nice hop aroma, fruity, overwhelming any kind of roasted malt; there is also some yeast. Smooth mouthfeel; chocolate flavor with roasted malt; strong bitterness, with just a dash of yeast and fruits, and infinitesimal liquorice.
Excellent example for the style.
Bottle. Creamy off-white mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Heavy amlty and hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flaor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. World class.
