Scopey (14730) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 20, 2011
Bottle at the Kernel Brewery. It pours very dark brown, with a big beige head. The nose is sweet caramel, treacle, pine and roasted malt. The taste is caramel, coffee liqueur, syrup, pine, roasted malt, toast, burnt wood, pepper, tar and alcohol warmth, with a bitter-sweet finish. Medium-full body, moderate carbonation and slightly syrupy mouth-feel. Tasty. tommann (3751) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JAN 24, 2012
330ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with a medium head. Aroma is juicy, guava, mango and papaya. Some coffee too. Taste has some watery coffee to start. Bitter mango. Faint bitter coffee on the aftertaste. Aniela (4216) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 15, 2012
From a bottle in London. Brown, hazy with a offwhite head. Fruity and hoppy aroma. Hoppy and malty taste. A nice beer. dantheman278 (1361) - SCOTLAND - FEB 18, 2012
Bottle at home. Brown/black, small tan head. Juicy IPA nose, plenty of citrus and guava with an underlying roasty note. Surprisingly dry yet juicy, full-on citrus with coffee grounds and a slightly roasty bitter finish. Interesting, a bit more roasty than I was expecting but still very good. UPDATED: JUL 25, 2013 Bottle, shared with Beer Geek Tasting Crew @ "Best Before Last Summer Tasting 2013". Dark brown body, small white head. Nose is licorice, burnt sugar, herbal notes and hints of resin. Taste is licorice, burnt sugar, resin, oxidized dark fruits and some lingering bitter notes in the finish. Hints of dark chocolate. Medium body, soft carbonation. Ok, but sadly another case of overaging. Our bad.

Expired bottle (bb09.03.13) Deep brown with a slightly tan head. Pine and resinous aroma along with roasted malts. A rather harsh flavour is obscuring what has propably been an awesome brew, but the age has taken its toll on this one, and I can only curse myself for not drinking it earlier. Still has decent bitterness and some pine/resin. Medium to medium-pluss body and soft carbonation. Inbreak (6025) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - JUL 25, 2013

Big creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly neutral, dark malts, hops, wet leafs, grass, caramel, rubber, thinner. Taste is harsh sour-ish, dark malts, old hops, cardboard, harsh grass, wet leafs, rubber, burnt caramel. Medium bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Old bottle that has passed it’s pride.
