Bottled. Pours clear deep dark ruby with a huge creamy, long lasting beige head. Lovely inviting aroma, some cocoa , dark light roasted malts and strong piney hops. Taste is light sweet, more roasted malts, cocoa and some nice piney and resiny hops. Creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation, lovely beer again from Bermondsey.

dark ruby brown, fluffy beige head which stuck around a while. Pine, peaches, citrus...slight oxidation notes perhaps (july bottling). Slightly toasty malt at first then some orange and red berries leading to a longish dry chocolate and orange peel finish. Hops muted somewhat but still fantastic. Carbonation perfect.
Bottle @ The Kernel, London. Almost black with a lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt and moderate hoppy - citrus and spicy. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 051013 Torrefacto (1675) - Madrid, SPAIN - NOV 7, 2013

Opaque black beer with a good pale tan head. Palate is soft, airy and semi dry. Soft dark malts with a touch of cream. Floral hops with a touch of sherbet candy. Light citrus and bitterish orange marmalade. Dry crisp finish. Really nice joined up version.
Bottle at home in London - bought at the brewery. It pours clear, deep reddish-brown with a large, thick and lasting beige froth head. The aroma has notes of earth, burnt cocoa, toasted pine. Light to medium sweet flavor with well toasted bread, some bittersweet cocoa. dirty pine, touches of juicy citrus. Medium bodied with average to lively, massaging carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish with lots of burnt bread, mild grapefruit, earth, pine, a bit of baking cocoa. A slow starter but the beer really grew on me as I worked my way through it. tiong (7276) - Espoo, FINLAND - NOV 2, 2013
