Smithld1 (285) - Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 9, 2015
Bottle, manor house wanstead. born approx 3 months ago. Hoppy, bitter but with a smooth finish. I’m a big fan. The hoppiness of the ipa but with a story end.

fkoolen (1216) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - JUL 28, 2015
Bottle at home.Very dark brown, big beige creamy head. Nicely citrus and tropical fruity hop profile, grassy too, not too bitter; malty base is sweet and sufficient body-wise, but not too roasted as expected from a black IPA. Fruity finish that lingers nicely. Good body, medium carbonation.

Idiosynkrasie (7535) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUL 26, 2015
330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fully lasting, moderately lacing, off-white to beige head. Tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of passion fruit, mango, grapefruit, chocolately dark malty background. Taste is bitter hoppy, tropical fruity, hints of passion fruit, grapefruit, a touch of mango, minimally sweet, chocolately background, minimally chalky flashings in between; rather weak on the malty side.

androman (2351) - Maarssen, NETHERLANDS - JUL 19, 2015

Nose is spicy tropical fruits, flavor is roasty, dried fruits, toast, citrus, leaves, old wood, earth, light bread, pine resin. Light to medium sweet, medium to heavy bitter. Finish is medium lasting hoppy and roasty medium to heavy bitter. Full body, dry texture, average to lively carbonation. Easy, tasty, dessertish beer, quite good one.

2015.06 - 33cl - zwart of wat dacht - geur is niet wat je verwacht (chocolade, koffie, en diets meer), nee de geur van tropisch fruit (wat ik niet associeer met een zwartkleurig bier) - mond : bitter en een hint van koffie
