10/16/2011 11:28:57 AM Bottle from Bierkoning. Hazy brown body with small head. Nose of hops and caramel. Taste of hops, citrus, really nice rye and pines. Very enjoyable, once again, by The Kernel. Nice bitter in the finish. Stuu666 (13093) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 12, 2015
Bottle at Craig’s. Pours deep amber, nose is toffee, caramel, pine, taste is similar, dry, juicy. Theydon_Bois (19194) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - AUG 5, 2012
Poured from a 330 ml bottle (purchased and drank at home Jan ’12) to a very hazy murky amber colour - another Kernel where you can’t see your fingers if you wiggle them on looking through the glass to the other side!!! Big thick finger of white head which soon subsides to a half, then a thin layer which covered the surface throughout drinking.
The aroma is all about the hops, most definately citrus notes featuring heavily, to quote but one - grapefruit is the heavyweight here!
When tasting you pick up the rye note in the subtle spiceiness of this beer, hoppy, bitter and dryness all come together and again I get grapefuit more than anything else in the bitter/hoppy aftertaste that ensues. Maybe a little peach? Slightly tarte but this is no bad thing, believe me!
Medium leaning to fuller in body, I’m getting towards the end now, the head is still there but slightly thinner, still the same aftertastes and aroma’s . . . another winner from the Kernel boys!

Despite all the care, it pours a muddy brown color, with generous compact head. The aroma is initially very fruity, resiny later, and a bit cheesy in the end. The mouthfeel is soft and dry; some malt and rye flavor, but also excessive yeast (there was also a thick layer of it visible at the bottom of the bottle before pouring); strong bitterness, to which the yeast add some astringency.
Good aroma, but the rest is rough.
Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Cloudy brown - white head. High bitterness, cheese hoppy, resin, citrus, spicy rye, toasted, chocolate, light cocoa, light flowery. Too violent. Pinball (12060) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 26, 2012

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruits, malt, caramel, and citrusy hops, leading to a bitter finish. madsberg (11762) - Søborg, DENMARK - APR 26, 2012
Bottled. Amber coloured. Unclear. Beige dense head. Aroma of fruits, herbs, flowers, caramel, light grape. Flavour of caramel, herbs, cocoa, flowers, light citrus. Medium to full bodied. Ends on a light grapy bitterness. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 26, 2012
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a clear warm amber with a creamy off-white head. Fairly sophisticated tropical hop aroma. Solid body, quite some caramel here, a little dusty hops that turn into peachy and other tropical notes. Good hop kick in the finish. Delicious. 260412
