Garrold (5696) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 24, 2017
Bottle. Cotteridge. Hazy, fairly dark gold. Super frothy, lasting, sticky, bright white head. Quite unlike a standard Kernel swede. Nose has well ripe citrus. Baked apple. Touch of tinned strawberry. Fleshy peach. Taste is sweet and juicy, ripe peach. Minimal bitterness. Lush, sweet mouthfeel. Juicy and oily. Soft carbonation. Bitterness comes in at the end, getting a bit pithy with sweet citrus. Really good. Best Kernel in a while.

More bittersweet citrus fruits, orange, marmalade, pine, more caramel malts, pale grains, bittersweet orange and pine in the finish, soft carbonation, medium bodied.
