Old Fountain. Keg. Hazy amber beer, small white head. Palate is light and crispy. Mild minerals. Mild malt base, just a touch of cream. Sweetish pithy orange, good fresh orange, more pith. Touches of lemon and grapefruit. Light floralness. Semi dry crisp finish. Usual Kernel easy drinking.
Bottle at home in London - sourced from Kris Wines. Pours mostly clear gold, fairly effervescent with a thick, frothy off-white head. The aroma has a decent amount of melon, along with juicy orange and grapefruit, some bready malts, too. Medium sweet flavor with rounded, bready malt character, low bitterness, a bit of ripe orange, tangerine, mild pine. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Warming finish, lightly resinous with sticky pine, ripe citrus fruits, further melon, orange, underlying bready malt sugars. Quite a tasty IPA with nice, juicy hops but it doesn’t sing the way a great Kernel IPA does. Still, it’s damn drinkable and better than most IPAs out there.

Solid Kernel IPA work but a little short of their best. harrisoni (19171) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2014
Bottle from Sourced Market St Pancras and drunk at home. 7.2% abv version. Hazy brown gold lasting ivory head. Grapefruit and earthy cascasde aroma. Faint herbal medicinal flavour in the mouth. Not very bitter. Not one of the best Kernel IPAs. Settles down a bit but nothing earth shattering. OK.. rlgk (18852) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - AUG 11, 2015

Bottle @ home. Hazy orange color, medium sized white to off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is malts and nice cascade hoppyness. Taste malts, hops, nicely bitter. Not as hoppy and fruity as I had expected. Still nice though. Stuu666 (14563) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 8, 2014
