[email protected] Arms, London. Orangeish amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, caramelly, mild toffeeish and alcoholic. Flavour is fruity, floral, nectary with some caramel and honey as well. Nice flavour, but the alcohol notes disturb the aroma.

20th August 2012
Very hazy amber beer, good off white head. Softish palate, fine carbonation. A little dry. Mild creamy malt and minerals. Fine carbonated sting. Slightly minty hops. Mild orange - tangerine, a whisper of cucumber is unexpected and a trace of melon. Finishes dry and semi crisp. Nice juicy tangerine!

Leighton (22019) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 13, 2012
Bottle at home in London. Pours the cloudy orange with a frothy, natural white foam head. Nose holds a bit of ripe orange, some grass, dry wood, some dusty malts. Medium to big sweet flavor, loads of ripe, almost dank citrus, mellow berries, faintly toasted pale malts, hints of dry caramel and bread. Full bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. Warm finish, plenty of sweetness to balance out a sturdy, earthy bitterness, strong note of bubblegum, melon, grapefruit, and sticky grass. The bitterness level is pretty much perfect, pushing the limit just far enough that it’s robust without being abrasive. Classic Kernel here.

On tap at Craft Beer Co. Hazy orange gold thin white head. The fruity aroma is just adorable. Just a really tasty tropical fruit beer. Lovely

Bottle from Beer Boutique, Putney. It pours deep orange, with a thin white head. The nose is passion fruit, white grape, tangerine, zesty fruit, grass and subtle farmyard notes. The taste is passion fruit, grapefruit, zesty, orange peel, straw, grass and resin, with a bitter-citric finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Mighty decent.

gunnar (9390) - Sandnes, NORWAY - SEP 22, 2012
Bottle from Beermerchants. Pours cloudy golden/orange with a small creamy white head. Aroma is quite powerful, lots of tangerine, flowers and grass. Taste is moderate sweet marmelade, counterweighted by some dry and bitter fruity hops. Light carbonated. A true Kernel this one, lots of hops here, but not overdoing it.
