Still London's best brewer IMO but it's getting harder to find their beer in bottles now that Whole Foods seem to have dropped them. Traditional piney, citrusy bitterness from the Centennial with a little bready spiciness from the Enigma I guess. Very balanced malt. One to be savoured.

Bottle at home. Pours golden colour with a white head. Melon and tropical notes, a bit sweet a bit bitter. Decent.

UPDATED: FEB 13, 2017 Fresh from the tap at Muted Horn in Berlin. Clear yellow in the glass. No remarkeble foam. In the nose only small aromes. But the body is brighter. Well balanced between fruity and bitter notes.

2/3 Brewdog Edinburgh. Pours hazy yellow, minimal head. Big funky hop aroma. Like many Kernel beers lovely mouthfeel. Nice balance of bitter, sweet, citrus, hops, hint of blue cheese. Really good.

Hazy golden beer, white head. Light citrus aroma. Taste is sweet and lemony, with a hint of airy pine and a slightly sour, tropical fruit hint to the finish. Dry and crisp, it’s more of a sipper for me, especially at this strength.

Tap @ Doghouse. Cloudy yellow, not much head. Grain aroma. Biscuit resin flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Decent IPA.

Bottle at home picked up from the brewery. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is nice sweet peach and melon, some orange rind and hot alcohol, bready malts. Flavour is composed of semi sweet base mlats, slightly rustic, pithy lemon rind, tangerine. Quite a bit of hot solventy alcohol. Palte is semi sweet, rounded, little sticky hop, moderate carbonation. Not my favourite Kernel beer ever.

Bottle from The Bottle Shop Bermondsey and drunk at home. Hazy dirty golden brown colour lasting white head. A bit dirty and earthy. Grapefruit aroma from the Centennials. Yes a little dirty. Otherwise decent pale malts not too sweet some bitterness on the finish Decent ipa.
