Light haze on this amber - gold beer. Good white head. Palate is soft with fine carbonation. Floral Centennial orange starts with a little hop skunk. Very nice tangy lemon - lime in the mid, almost sherbet. Subtle mango - apricot underneath. A lovely hop fruit medley! Mild creamy malt base. Moderate bitterness in the aftertaste. Kernel are scarily good!

Unbelievably this is still going strong. Good orange peel and orange, touches of lemon and grapefruit. Nice tang. Great!
Bottle at home in London. Pours clear, bright gold, lightly effervescent with a soft, fluffy white head. Inviting aroma of ripe citrus, tangy orange, pineapple, some dry pine. Medium sweet flavor, some further tangy citrus fruits, honey, melon, some mild bread, faint pine needles. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish with mild resinous pine, soft honey and caramelized sugar sweetness, jammy fruits, citrus, melon. Tasty IPA. 33cl bottle from Sourced Market, St Pancras. Hazy dirty brown orange with lasting thin beige head. Good aroma of lime, tangerine and pepper. Nice and full in mouth. Balanced. Good bitterness beautiful fruit all the way through. One of the best balanced of the Kernel beers I’ve had for a bit. Yep, that’s really pretty good. Delicious in fact.

Somewhat hazy golden beer with a decent lasting offwhite head. Hoppy leather aroma, citrus, grapefruit, yeasty notes, lemongrass, floral notes, some bread, some pears. Hoppy flavor, lemongrass, grapefruit, citrus, orange peels, leather notes, floral, some herbal notes. Good beer but not the best IPA this brewery has made. 330ml bottle ([email protected]
Lovely hoppy aroma - fresh and fruity. Taste is a bit plasticky (got this in some other stella-hopped beers, I wonder if that’s the link?) Drinks very easily for 7.4%. Nice balance between aromatic fruity hops and bitter bite, and more than adequately supported by a sweetish malty backbone.
Bottle at Kernel. It pours cloudy orange-amber with a small white head. The nose is pine, resin, orange squash, pineapple, as well as some herbal and floral notes. The taste is orange, mango, pineapple, resin, pine, herbal edge, floral, salt and some alcohol warmth with a bitter, citric finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Nice depth of flavour and well-balanced. One of best new kernel IPAs I’be had in a while. mR_fr0g (13154) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2013

(Bottle from Mr Lawrence, SE London) A hazy gold pour with a fine white head, medium in body and with persistent clinging lacing. Aroma and taste is prominent citrus hops with waves of grapefruit, orange and lemon tempered by caramel biscuity malt, pine, overall giving an initial sweet/sharp hit on the palate with a lingering bitter warm boozy finish. Immense.
