KyotoLefty (10687) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JAN 17, 2013
Bottled. Deep orange-golden color, lacy. Minerally, grapefruit zest nose, with honey and biscuits. Sweet, juict grapefruit flavor, tropical fruits and pineapple, tingly peppery finish. Nice fruit. A bit thin and light.

Big apricot and citrus nose. Big and fruity with a full body. Hides ABV pretty well really. Some passionfruit, grapefruit and toffee. Dolid stuff.

Somewhat hazy golden beer with a decent lasting offwhite head. Hoppy leather aroma, citrus, grapefruit, yeasty notes, lemongrass, floral notes, some bread, some pears. Hoppy flavor, lemongrass, grapefruit, citrus, orange peels, leather notes, floral, some herbal notes. Good beer but not the best IPA this brewery has made.

330ml bottle ([email protected])
Lovely hoppy aroma - fresh and fruity. Taste is a bit plasticky (got this in some other stella-hopped beers, I wonder if that’s the link?) Drinks very easily for 7.4%. Nice balance between aromatic fruity hops and bitter bite, and more than adequately supported by a sweetish malty backbone.

Jool (209) - - FEB 28, 2013
Bouteille 330 mL. Blonde legerement trouble. Nez de fruits tropicaux et agrumes. Bouche abrasive, legerement savonneuse avec une longueur forte. Amertume sur un profil qui manque de finesse.

DruncanVeasey (8283) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - FEB 5, 2013
330ml. Lightly misted gold with a slim fine head. Aroma of mango, flowers, sweet red apple, anise-like hints and outspoken alcohol. Intense, dry, a little warm and boozy with a soapy floral character; pepper and late pale nutty notes. Very bitter, very husky. Doesn’t quite convince.

BenH (3434) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 17, 2013
Bottle. Hazy amber with nice white head. Sharp peppery aroma, musty, pissy. Musty sharp orange flavour. Bitter finish with a lingering musty taste. Standard kernel
