On tap, was quite drunk so I’ll keep it short, full cat piss aroma with some fruitiness , clear yellow amber colour, body was a bit light for me but otherwise a very nice beer. yespr (45443) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAY 26, 2013
From tap. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Peachy and light grapefruity. Peachy and lingering citrusy. Crisp hoppy and lingering fruity. Medium dry and peachy finish. The_Osprey (7984) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2013
Cold bottle, about a month old. Two tone orange colour, cloudy. Smell is very promising - caramel, cat urine, tropical fruits. Quite mellow but complex flavour - indistinct fruits. Flavour doesn’t quite live up to the smell, but it’s still a really nice IPA. Some bitterness in the late aftertaste. Very clean and refreshing beer. 330ml bottle [6.8% abv]. Cloudy orangey golden colour with average, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Somewhat cautious, "unexplored" and unspecific hoppy aroma. Taste is dry hoppy, minimally piney, grassy and herbal, some citrus, carot. Cautious, not outgoing, one could think of an interference of mutually exclusive different hop notes. Hoped for more. Keg @ Crown and Anchor. Lovely looking beer, nice white head on a hazy orange body. Smells great too - lots of tropical fruit and citrus. Some malt there. Not much carbonation. Ok lacing. Smooth taste, not as full-on as some but the grapefruit bitterness is there as is some sweeter fruit at the beginning. Very tasty but I suspect there are better Kernel ipas out there.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, petroleum, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, fruits, and petroleum, leading to a dry finish. jackl (8071) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 20, 2013
Keg @ The Kernel. The pour’s slightly hazy gold with a small head. The aroma’s orange sherbet, pine needle. Light piss and candied orange peel. The taste is lemon and grapefruit citrus. Chalky bitterness. Resinous pine cone, woodland hops. Nicely acerbic bitter finish. Medium body, smooth. Overall, another solid IPA from The Kernel. sfhodense (4789) - Odense NØ, DENMARK - MAY 19, 2013

Almost clear amber beer, tidy off white head. Palate is soft and a little dry. Fine carbonation. Semi dry creamy malt, light. Sweetish hops - tangerine resin and an unusual red berry fruit vibe. Light floral tone, pine as well. Light dry finish. Overall a very interesting and sweetish IPA that doesn’t quite blow my socks off in the normal Kernel manner!

This bottle seems smoother and creamier and has lost a lot of the red berry fruits. There is smooth orange and tangerine, little peel. Traces of grapefruit and lemon. The Nelson Sauvin seems very quiet here!
Hazy amber beer. Strong citrus/grapefruit aroma and the flavour has the same qualities but with a bitter hop taste too. Quite a tangy fruit finish with a lasting bitter-sweet citrus taste.
