hazy deep amber beer with a good off white head. Light passion fruit on the nose. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Smooth light malt base. Hops appear to be Mosaic dominated with passion fruit coming through strong. Lesser orange and orange peel. Little hop spice. Crisp finish with a minty aftertaste. Very nice!
Keg at the brewery - Bermondsey, London. Pours cloudy gold with a fine, foamy white head. Super solid IPA, lots of dank citrus, pee, sticky pine. Medium to full bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Sticky, resinous on the finish with lots of juicy citrus. Lovely. Uber-Solid Kernel IPA. harrisoni (18809) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 23, 2013
Bottle from Sourced Market St Pancras drunk at home. Hazy amber coloured lasting white head. Good tropical fruit aroma. Some toffee. I mean I love Kernel IPAs but I wouldn’t say that this is one of the best. Bitterness is a little metallic on the finish. Soft in the mouth. Some ok tropical fruit and tangerine. Hmm, don’t know if it’s the beer or me. Nice enough, but it doesn’t quite sing like some of the IPAs from Kernel. Good marmalade though. Keg at Lyric Soho. It pours hazy pale golden with a medium white head. The nose is earthy, hay, orange, grapefruit and sherbet. The taste is crisp, orange rind, tangerine, sherbet, minerals, leaf, light grass and earthy bitterness with a bitter, citric finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Tasty, well-balanced and highly drinkable. Great stuff!

Keg Tapped Leeds 07/01/14. A golden coloured beer with a white head. Beautiful peach and tropical fruit notes in the nose. These same hoppy elements in the mouth with a dry biscuit flavour. Carbonation is well done. Drinkability is spot on for a keg beer. Tasty and well brewed. Good depth of flavour. Very enjoyable. Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy amber pour with big off white head, tropical fruit aroma, plenty of citrus and pine in the taste, decent bitter finish. JohnRMurdoch (4917) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - NOV 12, 2013
330ml bottle from The Good Spirits Co. Light medium brown, not much head, a bit flat. Biscuit resin grain hop aroma. Leafy grainy resin hop flavour. Resin citrus aftertaste. Decent Kernel IPA. maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - NOV 3, 2013
Tap at the brewery. A dull orange pour with a firm white head leaving great lacing. This is a pretty heavy and sticky nose - pine, heavy dank, grapefruit, grass. A big malt backing to hold the overwhelming hops in this. Loads of dank and grassy hops, pine, light lemon, lemon rind, grapefruit on the finish. Solid BenH (3439) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 9, 2013
Keg at kernel. Cloudy orange with white head. Aroma of orange, lemon and pine. Taste of grapefruit, blood orange, lemon, very sharp. Quite bitter. Pretty good
