Very solid, but nothing too fancy. Citrus bomb with pine kick. Mostly grapefruit and orange, some floral aspect, Kinda maltiness not working well for me, maybe too pushy caramel. Light sweetness with moderate bitterness.
Juicy. Nice IPA. triskaideka (369) - Killarney, IRELAND - OCT 7, 2015

330ml bottle as citra Chinook - 6.9%. Hazy amber pour with thin white head. Aroma is really fruity. Lots of citrus - grapefruit, orange and lemon. Zingy hoppiness too. Taste is more of the same. Just so nice and fruity. So easy to drink and you’d never guess 6.9%. mkam (409) - POLAND - APR 20, 2015

6.9% ABV "IPA Chinook Citra" from Coppers, Newcastle. This is a cloudy golden beer with a sharp citrus, tropical fruit and orange flavour followed by an earthy, peppery hop and a warming orange blossom finish. Another great Kernel beer. Bottle Conditioned.

Clear pale orange beer, no head, glass filled to the rim. Oh, England... Aroma: fruity, citrus, little cheesy, smelly feet, melons, malty. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus start, nice bitterness, bit cheesy, piny touch. Aftertaste: hay, grains, citrus, pretty bitter, dry, lemon peel, bit medicinal, not the best Kernel I’ve ever had. Which is weird, ’cause I’m a citra fan.
