Draught. Very hoppy, citrusy in aroma. In taste medium bodied, crisp, full of hoppy flavours. Finish is bitter and quite dry. Great IPA like most from Kernel.

Bottle, sourced from Ale House, Chelmsford, drunk at home for Peter’s birthday weekend. Happy Birthday, mate! Thick hazy orange. White lacing. Aroma is sherbet, candy, oranges, papaya and pith. Taste is grapefruit, sherbet, oranges, marmalade, starburst sweets, fruit pastels, soft malts, juicy hop resin and pith. I just wish I had it fresher. Great stuff!

Very hazy amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is soft but still has decent fine carbonation. Light malts, sweetish. Whisper of hop skunk leads to mellow hop spice. Rich tangerine - orange with a little peel. Whisper of zippy lemon - tangerine. Light finish brings a mild bitter linger. Hangs together brilliantly. Great hop fruits.

Bottle at home, 30/10/15. Hazed ornage amber with a big ole off white covering that retains well. Nose is juicy citric peel, caramel, light spice, pine resin, bitter orange, toasted malt, mandarin. Taste comprises sweet malt, airy and light, toasted bread, melon, mandarin, light mango, sweet grapefruit, light pine strokes. Medium bodied, soft massaging carbonation, as good as it gets, juicy hop bitterness in the close. Solid IPA.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery last week. Pours lightly hazed gold with a frothy white head. Nice lightly tangy citrusy aroma, some lemon and tangerine, a bit of pale bread, hints of more rugged columbus. Medium sweet flavor with some earthy, piney bitterness, plenty of plump tangerine, pale malts, lime, orange rind. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with light hop resin, grass, moderate pale malt sweetness, further tangerine character. A typically stellar IPA from the Kernel crew.
