Bottle split with the Wingman at MK VHX, 16/11/17.
Hazed golden with a well formed off white head.
Nose is orange pith, straw, toasted grains, melon rinse.
Taste comprises orange pith, papaya, toasted bread, cantaloupe melon, airy malt base.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
A little restrained on the hop front for me but fine for the style. Leighton (23126) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 8, 2017
Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at the Bottle Shop, Bermondsey. Pours mostly clear gold with a foamy, pure white head. Clean citrusy hops in the nose - lemon, grapefruit - and nice, lean pale malts. Light-medium sweet flavour with subtle rindy bitterness, more lemon, some tangerine, dry pale bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, with a hint of resin, mild warmth, pithy grapefruit and lemon, supportive crisp pale malts. A tight IPA overall. Immensely clean and drinkable. MrTipple (7317) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 5, 2017

Keg at Cotteridge Wines; hazy yellow pour with a big frothy white head, aroma has big citrus, taste has grapefruit, quite citrusy, hint of malts, pretty good. romanstep (754) - Warszawa, POLAND - OCT 14, 2017
Butelka do 23.12.2017 The_Osprey (9943) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 7, 2017
October 2017 - 330ml bottle at home in Richmond as 'The Kernel India Pale Ale Citra Sticklebract', 6.8%, about 6 weeks since bottling. Paired with Papa John's pizza. Pours a hazy golden, very lightly sparkling, quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is minerally-stones-grapefruit-papiermache. Like eating a grapefruit off a piece of flint with someone eating ready salted crisps next to you. Body is light, spritzy carbonation, a little frothy. Taste is creamy malts, touches of pine and salt, faint citrus, floral astringency sucks the cheeks in towards the finish. Very crisp and drinkable. A good Kernel IPA but their recent output has been uninspiring by their previous standards. (6-4-7-4-16=3.7)
