Very hazy gold beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palate is softish and airy with superfine carbonation. Light malt base, soft and slightly creamy sweet. Hops are a heady mix of rich fresh orange, well integrated floralness, passion fruit led tropical fruits and a touch of mango. Finishes light with a touch of hop spice. Easy drinking delicious beer and effortless Kernel quality.
Bottle at home in London - picked up at the Euston Tap. Pours clear gold, lightly effervescent, with a creamy, white cap. Wonderfully full and dank fruits in the nose, highlighted by orange, mango, papaya and tangerine. Medium sweet flavor with low bitterness, and just truckloads of citrus and tropical fruit-like hops, some watermelon, pineapple, in addition to plenty more orange, papaya, mango and the like. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; could use a bit more carbonation, actually. Moderately resinous and oily to finish, with more vibrant, ripe citrus and tropical fruit hops, slight bubblegum, tangerine, gooey orange juice, faint piney bitterness, honey, understated pale bread. Absolutely, outrageously good. The balance and depth here is awesome, with great intensity of flavour coming out of the hops. If the carbonation was a little bit higher this would be off the charts, but as it is it’s still world-class. Taste comprises punchy hops, bitter grapefruit, melon, grassy tones, light pine, mandarin.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close.

Bottle at Craft Covent Garden. Hazy orange gold colour lasting white head. Some tropical fruit. I am not saying it’s tired but it lacks the Kernel fresh sparkle. I mean it was bottled 2 months ago. Bit of toffee on the aroma. Not one of Kernels best in my opinion. Some fruit in the mouth some bitterness on the finish. mcberko (18977) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 7, 2014
On tap at The Kernel, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out cat piss and piney hops. Flavour is extremely well-balanced, with loads of piney hops, citrus and biscuity malt to back. Super dry and really well-balanced. Really excellent stuff.

Bottle at the hotel room in London. Named just Citra Amarillo. Bottle on July 30 2014. Hazy golden beer with a nice offwhite head. Hoppy pine aroma, perfume, floral, mango, solvent. Hoppy pine flavor, citrus, floral, again solvent. Disappointing. Scopey (15707) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 19, 2014
Keg at CASC. It pours clear golden-amber with a small white head. The nose is fresh, orange, tangerine, apricot and passion fruit. The taste is crisp, bitter, sherbet, grapefruit, orange peel, light alcohol, grass and tangerine with a dry, citric finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Crisp and crushable. Tasty. imdownthepub (15332) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 26, 2014
Bottled, 330ml from S.H Jones, Banbury, Oxon. Gold with white head. This hop combination really worked for me, fresh, tangy with orange and grapefruit flavours. Bitter with a grassy edge, lasting on the palate. A pure delight of a beer. DSG (15237) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JUL 24, 2014
